In short

  • We keep this short because it is for you: ReviseBase collects your email, your notes, and your quiz scores — nothing else, and we never sell them or use them for adverts.
  • Your notes go to AI companies to make your quizzes and flashcards. No other student can ever see your notes or scores.
  • We keep your information only while your account exists. You can delete anything, or your whole account, whenever you want in Settings.
  • Questions? Use the contact page — a parent, guardian or teacher can ask for you.
  • If anything here worries you, tell an adult you trust. You also have the right to complain to the ICO (ico.org.uk).

Read the full policy below.

This page is for anyone under 18 using ReviseBase. It explains, in plain English, what happens to your information. There is a fuller version for adults on our Privacy Policy page.

What information do we collect?

  • your email address and the name you give us, so you can have an account;
  • the study material you upload or paste in (like your class notes);
  • your quiz scores and flashcard progress, so the app knows what to help you with next;
  • how much you use the app each day, so free limits work fairly.

We do not ask for your home address, your school, or your date of birth.

Why do we collect it?

Only to run the app for you: to make your account, turn your notes into quizzes and flashcards, and show your progress. That is it.

What does the AI do with my uploads?

To make your quizzes, flashcards and tutor answers, we send the material you choose to process to AI companies. They help turn your notes into study tools. Their computers might be in other countries, including the United States — the AI Transparency page explains exactly which companies and what they get. Nobody else using ReviseBase can ever see your notes or your scores.

Who might my information be shared with?

  • the AI companies that make your study tools (only the material you process);
  • our website host, which stores your account and files;
  • Stripe, if you or an adult pays for Premium — they handle the money, and we never see card details.

We never sell your information, and we don't use it to show you adverts.

How long do you keep it?

While your account exists. Delete anything anytime in the app, or delete your whole account in Settings — your notes, quizzes and scores are permanently removed.

Can I delete it? Can I ask questions?

Yes — you don't need to give a reason:

  • Delete account is a button in Settings. If you are not sure, ask a parent, guardian or teacher to help.
  • You can also message us from the contact page — to get a copy of your information, correct it, delete it, or ask anything at all. If you are under 18, it is fine for a parent or guardian to ask for you.

If something worries you

If anything on ReviseBase makes you uncomfortable, stop using it and tell an adult you trust — a parent, carer or teacher. They can contact us, and we will help. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk, or — if you live in the EU — to your local data protection authority.
