What are study credits?
- Credits are the unit the AI features are priced in. You spend them only when you generate something.
- Your allowance is included with your plan and refreshes every week. Unused credits do not roll over.
- Unlimited does not use credits at all — it is covered by daily fair-use limits instead.
- Running low? Top-up credits can be bought in the app and never expire.

Questions about plans and credits
Do I need a card to start?
No. The free Core plan is available without any payment details.
What happens to unused credits?
Your weekly allowance refreshes each week and unused credits do not roll over. Top-up credits you buy separately never expire.
Can I change plan later?
Yes. You can upgrade or cancel from your account settings, and plan changes take effect from your next billing date.
What does “fair use” mean on Unlimited?
Unlimited removes credit costs for every feature, but Deep Research and web-backed features still have daily limits so that a small number of accounts cannot use a disproportionate share of the AI capacity.
